Transition Opportunities at Loveland High School

Loveland High School provides a variety of in-school transition experiences to help students prepare for life after graduation. These opportunities include work-based learning and internships throughout the Loveland community.

Post-Graduation Transition Programs

For students who have completed all high school graduation requirements, the IEP team may meet to decide whether a transition program is an appropriate next step. Partner programs include:

  • Great Oaks – Career X and Project SEARCH
  • Hamilton County ESC – Pathways to Employment
  • Warren County ESC – Transition Living Classroom

Planning for Life After High School

The IEP team collaborates with students and families to identify the pathway that best supports each student’s goals. Options may include:

  • College or additional training
  • Career placement
  • Military service
  • Adult living or community-based programs
